Snapsure trust and legal

Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you create an account, use Snapsure, join early access or subscribe to a paid plan.

Effective date21 July 2026
Version1.0
OperatorChangeable Limited
Before publication

The liability section should receive independent New Zealand legal review before paid public release.

These terms govern your use of the Snapsure platform. By creating an account or using Snapsure, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1

Parties and acceptance

Snapsure is provided by Changeable Limited ("Snapsure", "we", "us", "our"), a New Zealand company.

"You", "customer" and "user" refer to the person or organisation that creates a Snapsure account. An "authorised user" is anyone you invite to your account as a team member (available on Portfolio, Agency and Enterprise plans).

By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you accept these terms, and that if you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you have the authority to bind that organisation.

2

The Snapsure service

Snapsure is an AI-powered property documentation platform. The service includes property records management (addresses, room configurations, contacts, maintenance logs), property inspection workflows (entry, routine and exit inspections with photo and voice capture), New Zealand Healthy Homes Standards documentation workflows (heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture and drainage, draught stopping, and smoke alarm recording), listing preparation (marketing photos, AI-generated descriptions, image enhancement and virtual staging), PDF report generation (inspection reports, Healthy Homes compliance reports), team access and branded reporting (on qualifying plans), data exports (CSV), and integrations with third-party property management tools (on qualifying plans).

We may update, modify or discontinue features from time to time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

3

Early access

Snapsure is currently in early access. This means you are using Snapsure before its official public release, and you have been given access ahead of the general public.

During early access, features may change, be added or be removed before official release. Some features may be incomplete or behave unexpectedly. Faults and service interruptions may occur. Some integrations may not yet be available. Support may be limited compared to post-launch service levels.

We welcome your feedback during early access. Feedback you provide may be used to improve Snapsure. You do not receive compensation for feedback unless separately agreed.

Data you create during early access will carry into the official release. Pricing offered during early access is subject to change for new subscribers after official release, but we will honour any pricing commitments made to early-access users for the period stated at the time of your sign-up.

We may end the early-access period at any time by providing notice. When early access ends, the service transitions to its official release and these terms continue to apply.

4

Accounts and security

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials. You must not share your account with anyone outside your permitted authorised users. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by your authorised users. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, notify us immediately at security@snapsure.co.nz.

On plans that support team access (Portfolio, Agency and Enterprise), you can invite authorised users with either Member or Admin roles. Members can create and manage property data. Admins can also manage team settings, invitations and branding. You are responsible for managing your team's access and ensuring authorised users comply with these terms.

5

Plans and features

Snapsure is available in five tiers

Free, Professional (NZ$39.95/month or NZ$399/year), Portfolio (NZ$59.95/month or NZ$599/year), Agency (NZ$99.95/month or NZ$999/year) and Enterprise (custom pricing).

Each plan has limits on the number of properties, monthly listing credits, virtual staging credits, image enhancement credits and team members. Current plan details and limits are displayed on the pricing page at snapsure.co.nz/pricing and within the app settings.

We reserve the right to change pricing for new subscribers with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period. Annual subscribers are protected from price increases for the duration of their annual term.

Fair use applies to features described as "unlimited" on Agency and Enterprise plans — specifically, inspections are subject to a 200/month fair-use cap and image enhancement is subject to reasonable use.

6

Billing

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and exclude GST unless stated otherwise.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance and renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. We accept payment by credit card and debit card, processed through Stripe. If a payment fails, we will retry according to Stripe's standard dunning schedule and may suspend your account if payment is not received after repeated attempts. Tax invoices are issued for each payment and are accessible through the Stripe customer portal.

On plans that support additional team members beyond the included allocation, extra users are billed at NZ$10/month each on the Portfolio plan and NZ$15/month each on the Agency plan, prorated from the date added.

Enterprise plans may be invoiced separately under custom billing terms.

6.1 Top-up credit packs

When you reach your monthly limit for listings, virtual staging or image enhancement, you can purchase top-up credit packs as an alternative to upgrading your plan. Staging packs (10 images, NZ$5) and enhancement packs (25 enhancements, NZ$5) do not expire until used. Listing packs (5 extra listings, NZ$10) expire at the end of the current calendar month. Top-up purchases are non-refundable.

Top-up purchasing is not yet available. Current purchase flows display a “Coming soon” message.

7

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future automatic renewals. Monthly subscribers retain access until the end of the current billing month. Annual subscribers retain access until the end of the annual term — annual fees are not refundable on a pro-rata basis. Unused top-up credits (staging and enhancement packs) remain available until used, regardless of cancellation. Listing pack credits expire at the end of the month in which they were purchased.

After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan at the end of the paid-through period. If your data exceeds Free plan limits (for example, you have more than one property), you will be prompted to select which property to keep. Properties not selected are archived for 90 days, then permanently deleted. You can export your data before this happens.

If you wish to delete your account entirely (rather than revert to Free), see section 15 of our Privacy Policy.

8

Customer responsibilities

When using Snapsure, you agree that you have lawful authority to enter and inspect any property you document. You have obtained any necessary consent from tenants, occupants or property owners. You respect tenant and occupant privacy and avoid unnecessary recording of individuals. You provide accurate property information. You review all AI-generated outputs — including condition assessments, descriptions, Healthy Homes calculations and listing copy — before finalising reports or publishing listings. You keep your login credentials secure. You use inspection reports and other outputs only for lawful purposes. You follow all applicable tenancy, privacy, advertising, building and property laws and regulations.

9

User content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Snapsure, including photographs, video, voice recordings, text, property details and signatures.

By uploading content, you grant Snapsure a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, analyse, reproduce, display and export your content for the purpose of delivering the service — for example, storing your photos, running AI classification, generating PDF reports, and enabling data exports. This licence does not grant Snapsure ownership of your content. It continues only for as long as your content is stored on the platform.

You confirm that you have the right to upload all content you submit and that your content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights or other legal rights. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of your content. We may remove content that we reasonably believe is unlawful or harmful, with notice to you where practicable.

When your account is terminated or your data is deleted, the licence described above ends and your content is removed from our systems in accordance with the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.

10

AI-supported outputs

Snapsure uses AI to generate drafts and suggestions throughout the platform, including condition assessments, item descriptions, maintenance flags, Healthy Homes compliance indications, listing descriptions, comparison analysis, and image enhancements.

All AI-generated content is a suggestion, not a final determination. AI results may be incomplete, inaccurate or require correction. You must review and approve all AI outputs before they are included in finalised reports or published listings. You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all final outputs. Snapsure does not provide legal, property valuation, engineering, building or professional certification advice. Where professional assessment, certification or legal compliance is required, you should obtain qualified independent advice.

11

Healthy Homes terms

Snapsure supports documentation of the five New Zealand Healthy Homes Standards (heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture and drainage, and draught stopping) and records smoke alarm information as a separate item.

The Healthy Homes workflow organises your measurements, evidence, notes and calculations. It provides real-time validation against minimum standards (for example, confirming whether insulation thickness meets the minimum for your climate zone, or whether heater capacity is sufficient for the room size) and generates a compliance summary with per-standard status indicators (Meets standard, Action recommended, Non-compliant, or Incomplete).

However, Snapsure does not guarantee that a property is compliant with the Healthy Homes Standards. It does not replace a qualified inspection or professional certification where required. It relies entirely on the information you enter or capture — if your measurements are inaccurate, the compliance assessment will be inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying all measurements, calculations and conclusions. The Healthy Homes report includes a self-assessment disclaimer stating that results are based on user-provided information.

All private rentals were required to comply with the Healthy Homes Standards by 1 July 2025. Landlords who fail to comply face penalties of up to $7,200 and may be ordered to undertake work. Snapsure can help you document your compliance position, but it does not guarantee compliance.

12

Inspection terms

Inspection reports generated by Snapsure reflect the visible condition of the property and the information captured at the time of inspection. Snapsure cannot identify hidden defects (behind furniture, inside walls, under flooring) or conditions not visible in photographs. Suggested condition ratings are generated by AI and require your approval before they become part of the final report. Comparison results between inspections may require your confirmation — you can accept or dismiss flagged changes. You are responsible for the final content of every report.

Snapsure does not guarantee that inspection reports will be accepted by the Tenancy Tribunal or have any particular evidential weight. Reports are designed to align with the format referenced in the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 and the standard tenancy agreement form provided by Tenancy Services (MBIE), but their acceptance in any legal proceeding depends on the circumstances.

13

Listing and virtual staging terms

When you use Snapsure to prepare property listings, you are responsible for verifying all listing descriptions, property features, pricing and marketing claims before publishing. You must comply with the requirements of any listing portal you publish to (for example, Trade Me Property). If you use virtual staging, you must clearly disclose that images have been digitally staged where this is required by the listing portal or by applicable advertising standards. You must not alter permanent property characteristics (such as removing visible damage) in a way that would mislead prospective tenants or buyers. Staged images must never be used as inspection or compliance evidence. You must retain the original, unaltered photographs. You must have the rights to publish all media used in your listings.

14

Acceptable use

You must not use Snapsure to gain illegal access to a property or record a property without lawful authority. You must not use it for surveillance, harassment or intimidation of tenants or occupants. You must not use it to discriminate against any person on prohibited grounds. You must not create misleading property advertising or falsify compliance records. You must not alter inspection evidence dishonestly. You must not upload malicious software or attempt to gain unauthorised access to Snapsure's systems. You must not scrape, reverse-engineer or copy any part of the platform. You must not share another customer's data without authorisation. You must not infringe any intellectual property rights. You must not use the platform in an excessively automated or abusive manner.

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of this acceptable use policy, in accordance with section 18.

15

Integrations and external services

Snapsure currently supports integration with Rex CRM on Agency and Enterprise plans. Data exports are available in CSV and PDF format on Professional plans and above.

When you connect Snapsure to an external service, you are responsible for your account with that service and for complying with its terms. Snapsure is not responsible for outages, data handling or other issues with third-party services. Planned integrations are not guaranteed — we may add, modify or remove integration options at any time.

16

Intellectual property

The Snapsure platform, including its software, design, branding, templates, documentation and all related intellectual property, is owned by Changeable Limited or its licensors. Your user content remains your property (as described in section 9). Feedback you provide about Snapsure may be used by us to improve the service without compensation.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, reverse-engineer, decompile or resell any part of the Snapsure platform or its content without our prior written consent.

17

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Snapsure available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for planned maintenance (we will give notice where practicable), software updates and feature releases, infrastructure issues beyond our control, or emergency security patches.

We may modify, update, add or remove features at any time. During early access, changes may occur more frequently. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that significantly affect how you use the service. If you disagree with a material change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

18

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict your access to Snapsure if your payment is overdue, if your use creates a security risk to the platform or other users, if you engage in illegal conduct using the service, if you violate the privacy of tenants, occupants or other individuals, if you materially breach these terms, or if your use harms other customers or the service.

Where practicable, we will give notice before suspension and an opportunity to remedy the issue. In cases of serious or urgent risk, we may suspend access immediately.

After termination, you will have a reasonable period (at least 30 days) to export your data. After this period, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections of these terms that are intended to survive termination (including intellectual property, liability, warranties and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

19

Warranties and liability

Snapsure is provided with reasonable care and skill. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure. AI-generated outputs are suggestions and may contain errors. The platform relies on information you provide — if your inputs are inaccurate, outputs will reflect that.

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss (including loss of profits, data, business opportunity or goodwill) arising from your use of Snapsure.

Where our liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to Snapsure in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or NZ$500.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (where applicable) or any other rights that cannot be lawfully excluded under New Zealand law. If you are using Snapsure for business purposes and both parties agree, certain consumer guarantees may be excluded to the extent permitted by law.

You indemnify Snapsure against any claims, losses, costs or damages arising from your unlawful use of the platform, content you upload that infringes third-party rights, or your breach of these terms.

This section should receive independent New Zealand legal review before paid public release.

20

Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint about Snapsure, please contact us at support@snapsure.co.nz. We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and aim to resolve it in good faith.

For billing disputes, contact support@snapsure.co.nz with your account details and a description of the issue. We will investigate and respond within 10 working days.

For privacy complaints, contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@snapsure.co.nz (see section 19 of our Privacy Policy for escalation to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner).

If we cannot resolve a dispute through our internal process, either party may refer the matter to mediation. If mediation fails, either party may commence proceedings in the courts of New Zealand.

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. The courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction.

21

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and notify you by email if the change is material.

For material changes that affect your subscription (such as price increases, significant feature removals, or changes to data handling), we will give at least 30 days' notice. You may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect if you do not agree with it.

Continued use of Snapsure after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
